More new eats: po-boys, platters & pulled pork

Even more new places to eat. These two are in Jackson County. O’Neal’s Restaurant at 5103 Ballpark Road in Vancleave serves po-boys, platters, burgers, sandwiches, salads, seafood and red beans. Meanwhile over in Moss Point/Hurley, C-Ray’s Smokehouse at 7100-C Highway 614 offers a menu of steaks, burgers, chicken, brisket, pulled pork and shrimp.

New hot dog spot opens

MOSS POINT River Dawgs, a new hot dog restaurant at 6105 Shingle Mill Landing Road, offers foot longs, nachos with or without chili and assorted ice cream novelties. John G. Fortner is the owner.
