Rain keeps oyster reefs closed

Some oyster reefs set to open today for commercial tonging are still closed because of last week’s heavy rain. That includes Waveland and Stanislaus reefs, public reefs in the Bay between the U.S. 90 bridge and CSX railroad bridge and northern portions of the Pass Christian and Henderson Point reefs and Hornets reef.
