MDEQ lifts water contact advisory for Bay beach

Hot or mild? New tamale restaurant has both

The Tamale Shak at 1717 30th Ave. in Gulfport has the OK to open, according to the state Health Department. The Tamale Shak offers mild or Southwestern Spicy tamales by the dozen or half dozen. They’re served with hot sauce or mild green sauce.
