The Hancock County Building Department issued seven permits totaling $177,650 and fees of $1,225 during the week of July 23-27.
Four permits were for residential projects: a garage on Road 552, repairs to a house on Kiowa Street, construction of a red iron building on Edwin Ladner Road and enclosing a pole barn on Theo Bilbo Road.
The commercial permits were for the following:
- a temporary office trailer for the Linea dock project on Port and Harbor Drive. Fees were $101. No valuation was listed.
- replacing a metal building with a new one at 23660 Highway 43. Value not listed. Fees were $26. Owner is Noah Daspit.
- new construction of a pole barn at 19380 Laterre Dr. Value listed was $5,000. Owner is Kord McCarty.
The Bay St. Louis Building Department issued permits for six projects totaling $340,658 and fees of $3,074.
The permits were for a residential addition on Ramoneda Street, a building on Debore Street, solar panels on Main Street. a new residential building on Bay Oaks Drive, a house moving on Semeru Street and a sign permit for Ochsner on Drinkwater Drive.
