Building permit report: a variety of projects

Here’s your building permit report for the week of Sept. 10-14.

The Bay St. Louis Building Department issued four residential permits with total valuation of $449,878 and fees of $2,968.

The permits were for new residential buildings on Demontluzin, Hancock Street, Bayou View Drive and Janelle Drive.

The Hancock County Building Department issued eight permits for a total value of $586,829 and fees of $2,884.

Two permits were for commercial projects. One is for the remodel of the Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission’s railroad administration office on Seaplane Road. Value was $210,000 and fess were $941. The contractor is Gulf Coast Custom Homes LLC.

The other commercial permit was for an accessory building at Polychemie on Port and Harbor Drive. Value listed was $110,000 and fees were $641.

The residential permits were for a house on John Wimmer Road, a pole barn on Road 388, an accessory building on  Bell Creek Road, the buildout of living quarters above a barn on Wendell Ladner Road, repairs to an existing house on Union Street and construction of two barns on Bar 4 Road.
