The Hancock County Building Department issued five permits during the first week of October. Total value was $192,858 and fees totaled $981.

All the permits were for residential projects: a single family house on Road 329; electrical, plumbing and AC repairs to a concrete block building on 7th Avenue; install a storage shed on Rocky Hill/Dedeaux Road; a new metal building on Creek Cove; and a barn with living area on Highway 603.
