Building permit recap: 10 projects

The Hancock County Building Department issued permits during the week of Oct. 8-12 for five projects with total value of $333,211 and fees of $1,926. Three permits were for residential work: a new house on Fenton Dedeaux Road, a shop/carport on Highway 603 and a shed next to an existing building on Crane Creek Road. The two commercial permits were for the installation of a fall protection truss with a harness trolley over the railroad tracks on Port and Harbor Drive and new construction of a boat/RV storage building at 8337 Lower Bay Road.

The Andersons are listed as the owners at the Port and Harbor project site. The permit had a valuation of $94,648 with fees of $590. The storage unit permit lists the owners as Terri and Robert Mayne. The valuation was $21,000 and fees totaled $266.

The Bay St. Louis Building Department issued permits last week for six projects totaling $393,726 and fees of $3,333. The permits were for a miscellaneous residential building on Tarpon, an addition to a residence on Washington Street, a new house on Washington Street, a residential addition on Easterbrook Street and a cell tower upgrade on Paradise Lane issued to Tritel Service Inc.
