Building permit report

 

Here’s your building permit report for the week of Oct. 15-19:

The Hancock County Building Department issued permits for six projects totaling $442,879 with fees of $1,952.

Two permits were for commercial projects including a three-sided metal storage building that the county is building at 8100 Texas Flat Road. The contractor is Farm Barns Inc. No fee or valuation was listed in the report.

The other commercial permit was issued to Terri and Robert Mayne for new construction of a boat/RV storage building at 8337 Lower Bay Road. The valuation listed was $21,000 with fees of $266. No contractor was listed.

The residential permits were for a new house to replace one that will be “demo’ed” when the new house is built on Dummy Line Road; a pole barn to store yard equipment on Kiln Picayune Road; a new house to replace a cottage on Cuevas Town Road; and a cattle working barn on Road 321.

Meanwhile, the Bay St. Louis Building Department issued three permits totaling $50,000 with fees of $490. All were for residential projects: a residential remodel on Mole Drive; a new house on Ballentine Street; and a miscellaneous residential building on Easterbrook.
