Building permit recap & Historic Preservation Commission agenda

The Hancock County Building Department issued five permits during the week of Nov. 5-9. Total valuation was $274,458 and fees totaled $1,320.

The projects permitted were all residential: a red iron building with build out living space on Pine Hill Road; a new house on Shawnee Street; and replacement of a carport on Orchid Street. Three of the permits were for the Shawnee house.

The Bay St. Louis Building Department issued permits for two projects, both residential. One was for a new residential building on South Beach Boulevard issued to Garcia & Sons Development and the other was for a residential addition on Woods Place. Total value was $493,054 with fees of $3,724.
