The Hancock County Building Department issued three permits during the week of Nov. 12-16 with total value of $26,455 and fees of $381.

Two permits were for commercial projects including converting an existing strip mall at 16329 Highway 603 into an extended stay motel with 10 rooms. Owner is James Alison. The value listed was $9,895 with fees of $211. The other commercial permit was for smoke partition and electrical service improvements at 13041 Road A. Owner is Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission. Permit value listed was $16,560 with fees of $144.

The one residential permit was for construction of a house on Creek Cove.

The Bay St. Louis Building Department didn’t have anything to report for last week.
