Building permits: Mostly houses & a pool

Happy Monday! Here’s your weekly building permit report:

Hancock County’s Building Department issued four permits, all residential, with a total value of $$225,762 and fees of $1,058. The permits were for a new metal building on a slab on Highway 603, a new single family dwelling on Road 357; a renewal of a permit for a new house on Herron Street; and recreation of an existing house to new property on Road 316.

The Bay St. Louis Building Department issued permits for five residential projects totaling $719,019 in value and $5,502 in fees. The permits were for a pool on Deer Drive and new houses North Nassau and Washington Street and two on State Street.
