Now open: new places to eat, drink

Here are the latest establishments permitted to open by the state Health Department:

Scoops Ice Cream at 229 Klondyke Road in Long Beach has a sweet menu including sundaes, Blue Bell hand-dipped ice cream, waffle cones, floats, coffee, cookies and more. Linda Peltzer is the owner.

Little Red Wagon at the Menge Ave. Flea Market in the Pass sells soup, salad, seafood gumbo, hot roast beef sub, roasted corn, smoked turkey leg, meatball hoagie, fresh fruit bowl and other items. Brenda Clelland is the owner.

Big Mama’s Cajun Kitchen at 131 Sandy Smith Road (off Highway 53) in Poplarville has a menu featuring appetizers, salads, sandwiches and poboys, plus daily specials, seafood and breakfast. Diana Vegas owns the restaurant.

Gulfport M Bar at 2419 14th St. in Gulfport had a change in ownership. The new owner is Jason Maxey.
