The Hancock County Building Department issued five permits last week (Feb. 18-22) for a total value of $398,270 and fees totaling $1,891. The one commercial permit was for construction of a covered building for access to/ and a portable restroom trailer at 8100 Texas Flat Road. The value was $118,953 and fees of $568. The owner is the Hancock County Board of Supervisors. Contractor is Twin L Construction.

The residential permits were for interior and exterior repairs to a house on 6th Street, new construction of a house and pool house on East Pointe Drive and a pole barn on Dogwood Lane.

Bay St. Louis permitted three projects for a total valuation of $336,450 and fees of $2,121. All were residential: a single family residence on Jordan River Road, a pool on St. Charles Street and a mechanical permit on South Beach Boulevard.
