Now serving: New restaurant, new owner, new location

Here’s the latest list of permitted restaurants courtesy of the state Health Department. There’s one new restaurant, one change of ownership and one old favorite now open in a permanent location.

NEW: A&G Seafood at 13211 Dedeaux Road in Gulfport is owned by Ngoc Nguyen. The menu includes steamed shrimp, steamed snow crab, steamed dungeness crab, butter corn, potatoes, sausage, seafood gumbo, Cajun turkey necks & fresh seafood.

NEW OWNER: Bacchus Food and Drink at 1310 25th Ave. in Gulfport, owned by Jourdan Nicaud, features spring rolls, spinach Bienville, ribeyes, grilled chicken salad, spaghetti & meatballs, chicken Parmesan, oyster Bordelaise, shrimp scampi, Creole club, softshell crab BLT and more.

NEW LOCATION: Pirate’s Cove is now open at 208 Menge Ave. in Pass Christian. The menu, which you probably already know by heart, features poboys of the roast beef, cheeseburger, fried shrimp, fried catfish and fried oyster varieties, and also fried shrimp and oyster dinners, chili dogs, french fries, hush puppies, onion rings, and much more. (Though after a whole roast beef poboy, what more do you need?) Mike Lamarca Jr. is the owner.
