Building permits & another heat advisory

It’s Monday and it’s hot. Here’s your weekly building report.

Hancock County issued three permits last week (July1-5) for residential projects totaling $9,000 in value and fees of $193. The permits were for renovations to a house on Caesar Necaise Road, replacing a well house with a combo well house/shed on Highway 43 South and a pole barn for agriculture and equipment storage on Road 345.

Meanwhile, Bay St. Louis issued one permit for a house. Fees were $3,538 and value listed was $493,924.

And also meanwhile, there’s a heat advisory for Hancock County from noon until 7 p.m. Heat index of 106 to 111. No breeze at the $600,000 bathroom this morning.
