Building permits: houses, a hay barn & boat storage

Happy Monday. Here’s the scoop on building permits issued July 22-26 by the Hancock County Building Department.

A total of 12 permits were issued for a value of $922,815 and fees of $9,437. Two of the permits were for commercial projects. AT&T Keypoint Communications got a permit for a new 305-foot wireless telecommunications facility and supporting equipment at 5050 Highway 53. No value was listed but fees were $5,001. Malley Store All got a permit to replace a building with a new 40 x 80 climate controlled 20-unit boat storage building at 1079 Tina Ladner Vic Faye Road. Value listed was $160,000 and fees were $791. The contractor is Landmark Contractors LLC.

The residential permits were for a hay barn on Crane Creek Road, a fiberglass pool on Hide A Way Drive, a new carport on Road 220, a new carport with slab on Pawnee Place, a single family house on Kiowa Street, two new houses on Cuevas Town Road, a new house on JJ Road, a storage shed with awning on North Shore Drive and a metal storage building on Cuevas  Road.
