Here are two weeks’ worth of building permits from Bay St. Louis.

For the week of July 29-Aug. 2, nine permits were issued for total valuation of $2,611,587 and fees of $19,378.

The one commercial permit was issued to the Bay-Waveland School District for a new building at 701 Athletic Dr. Value listed was $1.5 million and the contractor is Samuel Day Construction of Gulfport.

The residential permits were for three new houses on Riverview Drive, two on Pennsylvania Street, a new house on Union and a miscellaneous house on Good Street. A driveway permit was issued to Holy Trinity Catholic School.

For the week of Aug. 5-9, six permits were issued for a total valuation of $836,434 and fees of $7,037.

All permits were for residential projects: a house on North Nassau Street, a building on Carroll Avenue, a residential remodel on Highway 90, a miscellaneous building on South Beach and a residential remodel on Carroll Avenue.
