Building permit recap: half now, half later

Good Monday morning. Here’s half of your weekly building permit report. The Bay St. Louis half is delayed because of technical difficulties.

Hancock County’s Building Department issued three permits last week (Oct. 21-25) for a total value of $663,561 and fees of $492.

The one residential permit was for a carport on Arapaho Place. One commercial permit was issued to the Hancock County School District for renovations to 24 restrooms at Hancock High. Value was $584,561. The contractor is J.W. Puckett & Co.  

The other commercial permit was for construction of a metal building for a personal car fix it shop and storage at 5225 Highway 90. Value listed was $75,000 and fees were $411. Owner is Corey Necaise.
