Building permit recap & catch up

Happy Thanksgiving week. Here’s what we’ve got, building permit-wise.

Hancock County issued one permit last week (Nov. 18-22) with a value of $257,186 and fees of $983. It’s for a single family house on Willie Lee Road.

The Bay St. Louis report covers two weeks to make up for some computer problems in the building department.

For the week of Nov. 11-15, the city issued four permits for a total value of $760,026 and fees of $6,099.  All four permits were for new houses on Bay Cove, Ulman, Helen and Luzon.

For the week of Nov. 18-22, the city permitted eight residential projects and one commercial project totaling $1,500,541 and fees of $12,575. 

The one commercial permit was issued to Dave Roberts for a building at 1247 Highway 90. The value listed was $50,700 and fees of $427.

The residential permits were for houses on Janelle Drive, Good Street, Fiber Street and two on Mallard Street. The remaining permits were for bulkheads/piers/boathouses on Pennsylvania and two on Teal Street.
