Hark! And bark! Christmas cheer on wheels

We meet the nicest people on our morning walks. Today it was Donna Erlach, Anne Frank and Marian Glaser (with Paris). They were out spreading good cheer on their flower-power bikes. And who can resist a pup in a basket?

Meanwhile, it is Monday so here’s your building permit recap from Hancock County’s building department for the week of Dec. 2-6.

Three permits were issued for a total of $197,039 and fees of $950. The one commercial permit was for a 17-site expansion to White’s Bayou RV Park at 14900 Reynolds Road. Value was $30,000 and fees were $161. Owner is Marcus Allen.

The residential permits were for a house on Tahiti Road and another on West Benton Street.
