Sorry for the lateness of this post. I spent the better part of this gorgeous day getting the car’s airbag recall and brake pads taken care of. I know.
Hancock County issued three building permits at the end of December for a total value of $280,216 and fees of $1,277. All three were residential projects: A pole barn on Road 137, a new house on Anner Road and a new house on East Pointe Drive.
Bay St. Louis issued one permit on Dec. 30 to JPC Development for a commercial building at 407 Highway 90. The valuation listed was $250,000 and fees were $1,820.
Next Monday we’ll start all over again with 2020 building permits and with a new look. Watch for it.
What is a pole barn? I’ve wondered if it is built with poles or if it is built to store poles. I’m familiar with barns but not pole barns. I hear this reference in Texas also. Thanks!
