Ward 2 Town Hall: Main Street one-way, noisy bars etc. etc. etc.

Well. Making Main Street one-way certainly stirred up a lot of feelings, judging from all the comments triggered by my posting of the Bay Council agenda.

You can learn more and express your feelings at a Town Hall meeting on March 2 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the City Council Chambers on, guess where, Main Street. Another emotion-triggering topic: noisy bars in Old Town. (Dress comfortably.)

Ward 2 Councilman Gene Hoffman posted this about the Town Hall:

We went ahead and scheduled a Town hall meeting for March 2, 5:30 PM to 7 PM this meeting will be held at the City Council Chambers and we will discuss several issues including the noise coming from old town establishments, drainage and paving issues to be covered by the bond, 100 block of Main Street becoming one way and other issues or concerns of any citizens that attend the meeting. Please attend if you are for or against any of these issues. Please note these are topics for discussion, not something that has been decided already. I am very open to any input you are willing to offer. I look forward to hearing from everyone. Of course everyone is welcome, but this discussion will be pertaining only to Ward 2.
