Courtroom to be dedicated to Gerald Gex

BAY ST. LOUIS The Hancock County Board of Supervisors will host the dedication of the Hancock County Courthouse Family Master Courtroom in memory of Judge Gerald Gex on Monday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m.

Judge Gex’s law career included his service as attorney for the Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission and the Board of Supervisors. He was appointed to be a judge for the City of Waveland in 2001, and was also a judge pro tem for the City of Pass Christian. He was appointed Family Master by the Chancery Court in 1988 and served for nearly 25 years.
