BAY ST. LOUIS The Hancock County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting this morning at 11 a.m. at Sunrise Cafe, 315 Reese St., behind CSpire.

The cozy cafe serves a full breakfast menu, specialty sweet breads and muffins, homemade soups, Philly steak sandwiches, hot plate lunches and more. It’s open 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. No weekend service yet, said owner Cindy Kane, who’s been in the restaurant business for about 25 years. Sunrise Cafe is her first solo venture.
