Hancock County Farmers Market to open Saturday

Hancock County Farmers Market is on Longfellow Road in Bay St. Louis.

The Hancock County Farmers will be back open on Saturday morning, with a new setup for drive-thru shopping only.

The market will be open from 8 a.m. until noon, and many of the regular vendors are expected to be there.

The only entrance to the market will be on Reserved Street. Vendors will be set up under the two pavilions but facing outward. They will be wearing protective gloves and masks and be spaced at least 6 feet from each other.

Traffic will be directed along the first pavilion, then make a U turn and move on to the second pavilion. Drivers will stop, make their purchases and move on. No one can get out of their vehicle.

Some vendors have posted on social media  that they will be at the Saturday market, including Bay Biscotti, Marnie M’s Jerky & Jellies, and WQRZ which will be selling pepper plants. Honestly Beef from Collins, Miss., also will be at the market selling their beef products. They will be set up near the pavilions to accommodate their large trailer.

Check the Hancock County Farmers Market Facebook page regularly to see which vendors are posting their plans for Saturday.
