Thanks to Jeremy and Kristen, another great book signing at Bay Books last night featuring Chef John Besh.

The line was out the door when we arrived, even though the weather was frightful, but it moved quickly and there was time to visit with friends in line.

The hard working and personable Chef Besh, who was a boarder at Stanislaus, signed his cookbooks while talking to every fan and posed for lots of photos. Who could resist that opportunity?

As you might expect, he’s a very personable guy, easy on the eyes and he can cook. What’s not to like, right?

This afternoon, I can hear the band playing at the Depot for Snowflakes & Sugarplums. Anyone for ice skating? No, really.

Plenty to enjoy around here this weekend.
