The new BSL Unplugged concert series kicks off Friday night, Dec. 13, with singer/songwriter Will Kimbrough making his Bay St. Louis debut at the new Longfellow Civic Center on Court Street.

To get things going, Libby Rae Watson, formerly of Libby Rae and the Liberaetors, will open for Kimbrough. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert starts 7:30 p.m..

Concert organizers ask that you get your tickets before the show at Silver Slipper Casino’s Gift Shop. Tickets are $20. (You’ll also get $20 in free slot play.) If you can’t make it to the Slipper by 4 p.m. Friday, you can pay at the door.

There will be limited bar service, including Lazy Magnolia beer.
