Also today, it’s Second Saturday PLUS the 13th annual SOUP-ER MUDFEST.

Buy a beautiful bowl made by local artists for $20 (Cash Only) under the tent on Main Street and tour Old Town Businesses to enjoy a tasting of more than 20 soups. This event benefits the Hancock County Food Pantry, Old Town Merchants Association and Hancock County Tourism. 3 to 5 p.m.

The two Hot Spots this Second Saturday are Baytique at 125 Main and Shannon Mullen & Katie’s Jewelry at 112 South Second.

Today is the grand opening of Maria’s Multi Regional Cuisine, at The Buttercup on Second. Here’s the tasting menu for the evening (4 to 7 p.m.). Some of the menu items will also be for sale – Maria is also participating in Soup’er Mudfest with a delicious batch of Asparagus + Brie Soup.
