BAY ST. LOUIS The Krewe of Kids parade rolls Saturday at 11 a.m. for an amazing 43rd time. It’s a really fun way to catch the Carnival spirit along with some throws.
Kids and their families decorate bikes, wagons and carts and take to the route that starts at the old North Bay school on Dunbar and heads over to Dunbar Village. From there the kids roll down to Boardman, turn left on Leonhard and back to Dunbar and the starting point.
This year’s royal rulers are Queen Presley Green and King Jack Timberlake, both five years old.
Michelle Lady of WLOX is the grand marshal.
Hats off to Hancock County Supervisor Lisa Cowand who got this popular tradition started and keeps it going.
