The Mystic Krewe of the Seahorse’s inaugural Lundi Gras Parade is tonight at 6 p.m.

King Oceanus is Carter Church and Queen Tethys is Wendy McDonald. The parade theme is Sitting on the Dock of the Bay 1814.

The parade’s golf cart “floats” and marching groups will begin at the corner of Ulman and Second Street, travel to Demontluzin, then Beach Boulevard to Second Street and down Union to the Community Center for a reception and awards presentation. The reviewing stand is at Old City Hall on Second.

The Krewe promotes historical, cultural and educational significance of Bay St. Louis and the surrounding area through fundraising events, parades and reenactments.
