Here’s the latest from the state Health Department:

The Hilton Garden Inn at 2703 Denny Ave. in Pascagoula, owned by LaFont Inn LLC, has the official OK to open its restaurant.

The extensive menu includes breakfast (grits, oatmeal, link sausage, applewood smoked bacon, omelets, scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuit and gravy, French toast, seasonal fruit, assorted cereal) and also these items among lots of others: Southern BBQ pulled pork, grilled chicken, chicken Marsala, blackened fish with crawfish cream sauce, pesto crusted salmon, brined pork loin, chicken gnocchi, creamy potato and mash sweet potato served in a martini glass with your favorite toppings, boiled shrimp, crawfish, jerked chicken, jambalaya, ribs, steak and dessert.

Beverages and alcoholic beverages also are available.
