New places to eat Cajun dishes, tropical snowballs

There’s a taste of Cajun country and the tropics coming to Stone County. This just in from the state Health Department:

Captain Wil’s Cajun Way Restaurant at 1129 Parkway Dr. (next to Flint Creek) in Wiggins has the go-ahead to open.

Owner Wil Phenice’s menu includes appetizers, roast beef, shrimp, crawfish, catfish, oyster poboys and baskets, gumbo, red beans & rice, shrimp alfredo, crawfish pasta, steaks, seafood platters, salad bar and a daily buffet.

Tropical Paradise at 523 South 4th St. in Wiggins sells snowballs, nachos, pickles, chips, candy bars and drinks.
The owner is Lashonna Ramey.
