‘Homemade Decadence,’ anyone?

I’m not sure when or how I discovered Joy the Baker but I’m a big fan of her blog (joythebaker.com). She’s also got a cookbook and a podcast. All good stuff.

By some happy coincidence, Joy is now living in New Orleans and, as you would expect, she’s traveled over our way. She posted on June 30 that “the shores of Mississippi are slowly teaching me a thing or two about slowing down and unwinding.”

By another happy coincidence, Joy’s new cookbook is coming out in October. “Homemade Decadence” promises 125 recipes for “totally delicious treats.” Think Dark Chocolate, Pistachio and Smoked Sea Salt Cookies.

Wouldn’t it be great to get Joy here for a book signing at Bay Books?
