The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality invites you to attend a series of Community Conversations next week to talk about Gulf restoration. The Bay St. Louis meeting will be Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Community Center on Blaize Avenue.
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation will receive $356 million over the next five years to fund projects that benefit Mississippi’s Gulf waters and coast. The money will come from the Gulf Environmental Benefit Fund.
A workshop setting will be used to discuss community values for restoration among neighbors and local leaders.
