Three more new eating places to try, according to the state Health Department. All three are in Ocean Springs, the center of the dining universe:

Sweet Magnolia Cookie Company at 3520 N. 6th St. makes decorative cookies for any event. Jenna Sanders is the owner.

Saki Japanese Restaurant at 5995 N. Washington Ave. is reopening after rebuilding from a fire that devastated the building in December 2013. Serving its trademark Japanese cuisine. Opening date is Monday, Sept. 22. William Pham is the manager.

The folks at Broome’s Grocery at 1801 Government St. have added Frozen to the family. They serve snow cones, smoothies and slushies in the grocery’s parking lot. Owners are Curmis Broome and Bill Roberts.
