Did you have to remind yourself that today is Saturday? It’s okay. The holiday season has a way of mixing up our routines and causing us to forget the day, the date and where we put the keys.
I’m coming off a bout of something nasty and was looking forward to a quiet, rainy afternoon until the tornado watches started blowing up on my iPad. Now I’ll have to keep one eye on the weather.
I’m also working on my resolutions today, trying to make them worthwhile but manageable. One is to start recycling (again). Any tips to share? Hancock County doesn’t seem to be recycle friendly, or am I missing something?
You probably know this, but in case you don’t, I know of two recycle bins below I – 10. The closest to you is outside OLA’s gym on Union St. (across from SSC’s Cafe). The other is at the Hancock Farmers Market off Longfellow, near where the driver’s license office WAS. I got a cheap plastic bin from a dollar place and just toss everything in and haul it off when tired of tripping on the overflow. No need to separate except they do ask for glass to go in one portal.
