New eats up in P.R.

New places to eat are popping up in Pearl River County. Here are the latest ones given the state Health Department’s approval to open:

Stonewalls BBQ has now added catering. The restaurant at 1020 S. Main St. in Poplarville serves BBQ, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, cheese potato casserole and bread pudding. Jason Meador is the owner. Ask about catering hours.

J&K’s Family Seafood Restaurant at 1971 Highway 26 West in Poplarville has daily specials (red beans and rice, spaghetti, hamburger steak and fried catfish) plus regular menu items (fried fish, shrimp, oysters, hamburgers, sides) and a kids menu. Open daily. Owners are Johnny and Kristen Rogers.

Who Dat Café and Grill at 728 West Canal in Picayune serves seafood poboys, hamburgers, shrimp Creole, fettuccine Alfredo, shrimp and grits, salads and soups. Open daily for lunch. Cynthia Carranza is the owner.

Little Ceasars at 718 Memorial Blvd. in Picayune has the standard menu: pizza, wings and cheese bread. Open daily. Matt Langford is the owner.
