Music and art will shine at 4th Sunday at 4

Classical vocal music and scenes of coastal and New Orleans life will be featured at the 4th Sunday at 4 at Christ Episcopal Church in Bay St. Louis tomorrow, Feb. 22.

Heldentenor J. T. Anglin will sing Bach, Mozart, Wagner and more classical favorites and artist Dan Gurneck’s paintings in acrylic and drawings in pencil and pen and ink will be on display at the parish hall.

The free performance and art exhibit will take place at 4 p.m. at 912 S. Beach Blvd. A reception in the parish hall will follow the concert.

Artist Dan Gurneck is a long-time Gulf Coast resident whose work depicts boats, portraits and pop art. His portraits reflect character and humanity.

Pascagoula native J.T. Anglin is the organist/choirmaster at St. Peter’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, Gulfport and artistic director of the Singing River Opera.
