The Mississippi State Department of Health has approved four new restaurants to open. Give them a try soon.

Flyin’ Jalapeno (1101 A Broad Ave.) in Gulfport serves burritos, nachos, pork carnitas plus roasted chicken, sautéed veggies, Cajun boiled shrimp and more. The restaurant is owned by Joshua Nicaud.

R & B Brick Oven Pizza (19341 Highway 49) in Saucier is serving specialty pizzas and cheese ones too from a real brick oven. Aaron Strickland is the owner.

El Agave Mexican Restaurant (2108 25th Ave.) in Gulfport has a menu featuring burritos, tacos, enchilada, huevos rancheros, quesadilla, chile relleno, fajita salad, shrimp quesadilla, jarritos and much more. Mercedes Carranza is the owner.

Cajun Food Mart (1225 34th Street) is serving up oyster, shrimp and catfish poboys, plus cheeseburgers, catfish filet platter, fried shrimp platter, pork chop platter, egg rolls and other items.
