New pharmacy, services coming to the Bay

Here are the details on the new Pharmacy in the Bay at 1140 Highway 90, which opens for business Monday (March 23) at 10 a.m.

The ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration will be Saturday (March 21) from noon to 4 p.m. Snacks, giveaways and door prizes including a GoPro video camera, a FitBit activity trackers and a Kindle e-book reader will go to some lucky winners on Saturday.

Owners Rudy and Dawn Letellier will offer the same customer service their Waveland Pharmacy is known for, plus new services at their independent pharmacy in the Bay.

The Letelliers are collaborating with Cardiologist Wakkas N. Tayara and nurse practitioners from Gulfport Memorial Hospital to operate walk-in clinics providing prevention and wellness; treatment and monitoring; and management care.

The pharmacy will also offer the services of a full-time esthetician and a massage therapist.

Esthetician Alesia Fouasnon of Bay St. Louis is a certified skin-care specialist. She is a graduate of Aveda Institute New Orleans and is certified in micro needling, microdermabrasion and chemical peels.

Massage therapist Allan Robateau of Pass Christian is board certified and a graduate of Blue Cliff College in Gulfport. His techniques include Swedish, sports and deep tissue massages, neuromuscular therapy and basic Shiatsu massage.

“We are looking forward to the opening of Pharmacy in the Bay,” said pharmacist Rudy Letellier. “We are here to serve all of your prescription needs. It is easy to transfer your prescriptions to the pharmacy. We always appreciate the opportunity to take care of you and your family.”

Starting March 23 the pharmacy will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Saturday from noon until 6 p.m. Details: (228) 270-1055.
