The North Bay Civitan Club of D’Iberville-St. Martin is sponsoring a new club in Bay St. Louis/Waveland/Hancock County with hopes of getting at least 30 charter members.

“Currently we have five charter members and are hoping to reach 15 by the end of our organizational meeting tonight at The Blind Tiger, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the back patio,” said Keith Wilson, president of the sponsoring club.

“Membership in Civitan International gives adults a great opportunity to become involved in community service on a regular basis through knowledgeable speakers and team building during club meetings and creating a positive outlook in the lives of others and increasing personal leadership skills and values as a hometown hero,” said Keith.
