Carts4kids recycling helps community organizations

chris and cynthia w check9.15S&L Office Supplies owner Chris Cochran has created a recycling program to encourage recycling and to help community organizations.

Carts4kids collects used toner cartridges from individuals and businesses at the Waveland business or an S&L employee will pick them up. Once bundled, the used products are shipped off and either refilled or repurposed back into the community.

Last week Chris donated a $2,500 check from the recycling program to CASA of Hancock County along with a copier/scanner.

CASA’s Cynthia Chauvin said, “CASA volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children. As a local nonprofit, we are always looking for ways to get the community involved in our cause. Carts4kids allows people to learn more about CASA and to help raise funds by recycling.”
