Here’s the latest from the state Health Department on new restaurants now open for business:

Baja Beach Biloxi at 1785 Beach Blvd. in Biloxi has a huge menu, judging by this sampling: Queso dip, shrimp tostadas, Southwestern chicken eggrolls, quesadillas, burritos (Tex Mex, Deep South, California), fajitas, stacked enchiladas, tacos (beef, shrimp, oyster, chicken, fish, steak), black bean chili, salads, chicken Margarita, sunset grilled shrimp, tuna Pacifico, Baja ribeye, flan, sopapillas and even more. (Not for those who can’t make a decision.) Owner is Rob Stinson.

Snogurt Yogurt Shop at 1085 E. Frontage Road in Wiggins sells frozen yogurt with assorted toppings, snow cones and bottled drinks. Jessica Zheng is the owner.

L.B. Old South BBQ is a mobile unit in Stone County that offers ribs, chicken, baked beans and green beans. Lonnie Bolling is the owner.
