Full House signs contracts for Silver Slipper Casino hotel

HANCOCK COUNTY Full House Resorts announced today that it has signed construction contracts for the Silver Slipper Casino hotel with the R.O.I. Hotel Group and expects construction to begin in the next 30 days.

The Las Vegas company also said this morning that it closed on an amended loan agreement for $10 million that will fund part of the $17.7 million construction of the Slipper’s 143-room hotel.

Andre Hilliou, Full House chairman and CEO, said, “We believe the hotel is a much-needed amenity to extend loyal and profitable customer visits at the Silver Slipper property, and we look forward to celebrating the grand opening of the hotel facility in the second half of 2014.”

  1. I agree with everything Hilliou says, but sweet Lord, how much must insurance be costing them? That hotel is being built on a marsh. That road goes under water during a regular-season storm, forget about tropical disturbances. I hope it works for them, but I have my doubts.
