Dredge, tong, shuck, eat: More oyster reefs open today

The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources reopened several areas for the harvest of oysters at sunrise today.

The areas are the northern portions of the Pass Christian and Henderson Point reefs and Hornets Reef, the Waveland and St. Stanislaus reefs and the public reefs in St. Louis Bay, between the U.S. 90 Bridge and the CSX Railroad Bridge.
