I learned first thing this morning that my Facebook page has been hacked. Even before coffee.
After I’d had a couple of cups, I followed Facebook’s instructions on securing my page, changed the password and replied to several messages and emails from friends about my shady online situation.
I’ll take the hacking as a sign to step away from Facebook for a little while. Or longer.
I know longer use Facebook. I was never hacked, but it was affecting my moods, my sense of self, and served as a dangerous distraction. I miss my friends, especially former students. But I feel better.
Agreed Susie! I’d rather not know some of my friends’ opinions, especially political ones…and their ‘children’ (young adults who think they know anything about life) ..ugh! I don’t wanna know! Too stressful!
I mean I NO longer use FB.
I agree, Susie. This might be a very good thing.
Like getting rid of cable.
How did you learn you’d been hacked?
Will miss you, Lisa
I’m told that technically it was cloning, not hacking. Anyway, someone commandeered my page and asked people I had already friended to friend me again.
By the way, my last comment was today at 2:03 pm, funny it says 7:03
OK, thanks for the warning!
