JOHN DANIEL VOGHT – Application for Special Subdivision Plat approval. The applicant would like to subdivide the parcel of land into seven (7) new parcels of land. Each of the newly created parcels would meet the 100’ lot width and the 12,000 sf lot area requirements. The property in question is located at 402 Eighth Street and bounded South on Victoria Street and West on Bouslog Street; Parcel # 137L-0-35-112.001, described as Lot 1-16, Part 17, Part 27-30, All 31-46, Block 54, Bay St. Louis Land Improvement. The property is zoned R-1, Single Family District.

ANITA M. WARNER – Application for Variance to the Zoning Ordinance. The applicant is asking to install a 6’ in height wood fence on the front yard property line fronting on Third Street and Caron Lane and extend it to the side yards. If the variance is granted, the applicant will need a variance of 2’ to the fence height to the front yard setback, where the required height is 4’, and a variance of 25’ to the front yard setback for the placement of a 6’in height fence where the required setback is 25’. The property in question is located at 417 Third Street and the corner of Caron Lane; Parcel #149N-0-30-176.000, described as Lot 116, 117, 118, 119 & 143, 4th Ward, Bay Saint Louis. The property is zoned R-2, Two Family District.

TUCKER D. DAWSON, JR – application for Variance to the Zoning Ordinance. The applicants’ intention is to construct a carport to the front yard. If the variance is granted, the applicant will need a total variance to the front yard setback of 15’, where a 25’ front yard setback is required, and a total variance to the rear yard setback of 4’ where the required setback is 5’. The property in question is located at 321 State Street; Parcel # 149F-0-29-281.000, described as Lot 456 & Part lot 457, 1st Ward, Bay Saint Louis. The property is zoned R-2, Two Family District.

PAMELA HACKBARTH AND CHARLES BURKENSTOCK, JR – application for Special Subdivision Plat Approval and a Variance to the Zoning Ordinance. The applicant is asking to subdivide this parcel of land into three (3) new parcels of land. If the subdivision is granted, Parcel 2 will need a total variance to the width of the lot of 60’, where the required lot width is 60’, and Parcel 3 will also need a total variance to the width of the lot of 60’, where the required lot width is 60’. The property in question is located at 226 Carre Court, Parcel #137R-0-44-031.000; described as Lot 18, 19, 55, 56, & 57, Block 3, St. Charles Subdivision. The property is zoned R-3, Multi-Family District.

PAMELA ANN HACKBARTH – application for a Special Exception to the Zoning Ordinance and a Variance to the Zoning Ordinance. The applicants’ intentions are to construct an accessory dwelling to the rear of the property. If the Special Exception is granted the applicant will need a total variance to the rear yard setback for the accessory dwelling of 7’, where the required setback is 20’; a total variance to the side yard for the accessory dwelling of 3’, where the required setback is 8’; a total variance of square footage of lot area for the accessory dwelling of 3,500 sf, where the required square footage is 15,000 sf; and a variance to allow the parking to be to the front yard of the principal building where the requirement is for the parking to be located in the rear yard and behind the principal building. The property in question is located at 231 Carre Court; Parcel #137R-0-44-018.001, described as Lot 29 and 30, Block 2,, St Charles Subdivision. The property is zoned R-3, Multi Family District.

WILLIAM J ADAM, III AND MARGARET ADAM – application for a Text Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance. The applicant is requesting a text amendment to Section 621, CHART OF USES FOR ALL ZONING DISTRICTS, due to a mistake in the Zoning Ordinance; and asking to amend the Chart of Uses for the I-1, LIMITED INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, which is identified in the Chart of Use as “I-1”. The applicant would like to revert back to the I-1, Light Industrial District uses prior to the adoption of the 2010 Zoning Ordinance. The property in question is located at 309 3rd Street, Parcel #149N-0-30-030.000: Lot 18D, 4th Ward, Bay St. Louis, and Parcel #149N-0-30-077.000: Lot 26-29, Ballentine Subdivision. The property lies in an I-1, Limited Industrial District.
