Bay St. Louis The ample bathroom facility at Washington Street and Beach Boulevard appears nearly complete. No word from the Board of Supervisors on a ribbon cutting or other ceremonies planned for the $600,000 landmark.
$600,000 bathroom about ready to debut?
It would be interesting if proper grab bars are installed per International Building Code ANSI A117.1 section 604.5.1. Last I looked they are not configured to meet the code. Something so simple if the designers reviewed the codes every now and then.
I’ve been sitting here trying to imagine various ceremonious openings for a restroom. None of them are “ready for publication.” Nice one, Mike Reeves, on code review. Will this mean another delay? Mother of Pearl, what a mess.
I fought the temptation, too. Like how about the ceremonial first flush?
