Owner Chelsea Schaumburg is moving her Bella Mar Boutique to 998 Highway 90 Suite B., Bay St. Louis, next door to Rosetti’s Liquor Barrel. Opening day is set for Nov. 4.

Bella Mar opened in January 2015 on U.S. 90 and then moved to Bay Emporium on Second Street. “We loved it there because it’s downtown, but we outgrew the space,” Chelsea said.

The boutique sells women’s clothing (from extra small to extra large), shoes, accessories, gifts and Capri Blue candles made in Starkville.

It’s been a busy two years for the shop and its owner and her husband, Kevin. “We got engaged when we had our grand opening at the original location and we got married in April 2016. Every time we open, something extremely good seems to happen,” Chelsea said.

The new location will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. but Chelsea likes to cater to her customers so she’ll also be open on Sundays by appointment. Customers can call or text 344-3234 to make an appointment.

The new Bella Mar will host a women’s night out Nov. 10 from around 5:30 to 9 p.m.  There will be refreshments and a fashion show in a relaxed setting. “We want to do something fun and easy for women and moms to unwind and relax with us,” Chelsea said. The goal is to have a women’s night out for every season.
