Florida Today is reporting that the $350 million A-3 test stand being built at Stennis Space Center for the cancelled Constellation Program will “sit idle indefinitely until a new use is found.”
The paper also reports it will still cost taxpayers $900,000 a year to maintain.
The stand is listed among unnecessary infrastructure that NASA is spending millions on for upkeep.
